In October 2024, Perfekta opened a new nursing school in Hassel near Nienburg. This new educational facility is an important step for the region, as there is a shortage of around 300 nurses in the country. The opening is also an important milestone for the Perfekta Group, which already operates two retirement homes. The initiative to establish the school came in particular from Ms. Bach, who manages the nursing home in Nienburg.

 

Around 30 trainees from all over the world came to learn here – including students from Morocco, China and many other countries. At the opening ceremony in November, you could clearly feel their great commitment – be it through the artistically painted posters, the beaming faces or the self-organized snacks that were served to all those present.

 

The mayor and numerous local associations warmly welcome the new vocational school and its international students. They offer the trainees the opportunity to get involved in local sports clubs and other events and immerse themselves in the village community. Perfekta also actively supports the trainees in their search for accommodation.

 

The plans for the future are ambitious: There are currently 3 teachers at the nursing school, with more to be added over the coming year. In addition, a second class with a further 30 trainees is already planned for the beginning of 2025. Two modern classrooms and a practice room equipped with a wide range of equipment and materials offer optimal learning conditions. From next month, the trainees will already be going to the workplaces of their partner companies to put their newly acquired skills into practice.
